michael anastassiades

While some people listen to electronic music and hear nothing more than a series of repetitive blips and beeps, certain people also fail to see the beauty in minimal design. They somehow equate an excess of ornate detail, color and pattern with craftsmanship. Minimal does not mean simple, rather it clears away all the clutter and distraction that bad design hides behind, to reveal a purity, a thoughtfulness, an appreciation of material and form that is striking yet not overpowering. In my opinion that is the most difficult thing you can master as an artist - honesty. Michael Anastassiades does it exceedingly well.
